About Me

Just a little about me!

I am a very proud Mom of a 27 year old daughter. Over the last 30 years I have worked as a director/operator of a daycare,
support teacher for children with special needs and an early childhood educator. During the last few years I went back to
school part time to upgrade and in May graduated with honorers with distinction with additional training for children
with special needs.

I have been through the Child Abuse Registry and have had a Criminal Records Check. I regularly attend early childhood
education workshops, and hold certificates in Standard First Aid, food handling, Tumble Bugs Trainer and non crisis
intervention to name a few.

This summer I decided that it was time to make the change to a day home because it is a better fit for the journey I am
making as an early childhood educator.

Music is important to me.  I love to sing and when time permits I sing in the Church Choir. I play the djembe and am
learning to play the piano.  I practice Ti Chi, go to dance class and love to read. If you live near the park you’ve
probably seen me walking my big golden lab Jake. We both love to be outside!
